Camera, Depth, Motion, and TrueDepth Face Data
Smack Talk uses the device camera to detect body position, wrist movement, and punch motion during gameplay. Where supported, depth information may be used to better determine whether a punch is moving toward the screen. Camera and motion processing is used to power gameplay. Do not grant camera access if you do not want these features to operate.
Smack Talk may use Apple ARKit and TrueDepth-supported face tracking on compatible devices during gameplay. This processing may include real-time face presence, face anchor position/orientation, and depth information used to align AR effects, place cosmetic gear, and support gameplay motion tracking. Smack Talk does not use TrueDepth information to identify users, authenticate users, build biometric profiles, or track users across apps or services.
TrueDepth and face tracking data is processed temporarily on the device during active gameplay. We do not store TrueDepth face geometry, face anchors, facial maps, biometric identifiers, or Face ID data on our servers.
Live Video and Multiplayer
If you use live match features, your camera and microphone streams may be transmitted to other match participants through our live communications provider. Other players may see or hear what you transmit during a live match. Use the app in an appropriate environment and do not share sensitive personal information during live play.

Live camera and microphone streams may be transmitted to match participants through our live communications provider during multiplayer matches, but TrueDepth face tracking data is not separately transmitted or stored.

TrueDepth and face tracking data is retained only temporarily in device memory while gameplay features are active and is discarded after processing. It is not retained in user profiles, gameplay history, purchase records, reports, or analytics.
